It’s an FDIC insured checking account that gives you perks. When you use your PerkStreet Financial Visa Debit Card without entering a PIN, you earn free coffee, music or 1% cash back.

You can withdraw cash without a charge at one of 37,000 ATMs within the STARsf® surcharge-free network or at any merchant that offers cash back with purchases.
To get cash back at a merchant, you need to select the “debit” option and will need to enter your PIN. Remember, however, that you do not earn perks for PIN transactions but it’s a good way to get cash without a fee if you cannot get to an STARsf® ATM.
You may also use ATMs outside of the STARsf® surcharge-free network but you’ll pay a $2 fee plus any fee the ATM owner may charge.

STARsf® is a surcharge-free network of 37,000 ATMs. STARsf® is the oldest and largest surcharge-free network in the nation. Like other banks and credit unions, PerkStreet has partnered with STARsf® to give customers free access to cash. STARsf® ATMs are conveniently located at places our customers visit regularly such as Target®, Costco®, CVS®, 7-Eleven® and Walgreens® so you'll never have to worry about making a special trip to a bank branch to get cash.

Yes, the daily ATM limit is $500. For fraud and security reasons, we limit the total amount of money you may withdraw from an ATM to $500 each day. However, if you need to have this limit adjusted, please call us at 866.792.2834.

Yes, the daily debit card limit is $1,500. For fraud and security reasons, we limit the total amount of money that can be spent out of an account to a total of $1,500 per day. However, if you need to have this limit adjusted, you can always call one of our agents to make the request. This is separate from the $500 daily limit on ATM withdrawals.

- PerkStreet checks: 1 business day
- Checks from other banks:

- The balance within 5 business days
- ATM deposits: 5 business days

Yes, you can set up your account so that you can receive alerts via email or SMS text message to let you know when your account balance is greater or less than a specified amount. Don’t forget that your cell phone carrier’s normal rates will apply to receiving messages.
